Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone in Liverpool responsible for supporting colleagues at work. It suits designated workplace mental health first aiders, line managers and team leaders, HR, people and wellbeing staff, health and safety leads, community group organisers and small business owners. No prior knowledge of mental health is needed.

Assessment & certification

Assessment is by multiple-choice exam, so there is no essay or written assignment to prepare. Learners must be aged 16 or over with Level 2 English skills. On successful completion you receive the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Mental Health: Workplace First Aider, an Ofqual-regulated, nationally recognised qualification valid for 3 years. Qualsafe Awards is one of the largest Ofqual-recognised awarding organisations in the UK, and our wider first aid training is accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), whose qualifications meet HSE requirements.
